Healthy Meals and Snacks
At Teddy Bears Learning Childcare & Preschool, meals are included as part of your child’s enrollment unless a special meal request is needed.
As part of our Child Nutrition Program, each child receives a nutritious breakfast, and a balanced lunch that meets all required food components and age-appropriate portion sizes.

Our menu features fresh fruits and vegetables and high-quality protein options.

All meals are homemade and meet USDA Daily Requirements. We encourage children to explore a variety of food groups and always allow second servings to support healthy appetites.
Parents are often surprised at the new foods their children enjoy at school—thanks to the positive peer influence that happens naturally during mealtime. While it may take a few tries, children often become more willing to try new foods when they see their friends doing the same.
CPR / First Aid Certified
All of our teachers are certified in First Aid and CPR, even though the State of Arizona only requires one certified staff member to be present at all times. For added safety, many of our team members are also trained in recognizing allergies and responding to emergency situations.

Background Checks
We also exceed Arizona licensing requirements through background checks, to ensure ongoing safety and peace of mind for our families.

We also have lockdown procedures and we practice them regularly so our families can have full confidence that their children are in safe hands.
